The Culinary Union in Las Vegas demands 100% testing of all workers before they will agree to go back to work. Watkins was fired — walked out of the plant without representation of a Local Union Rep and denied Weingarten Rights. An IUAW Servicing Rep took over. Watkins was terminated and deprived of unemployment benefits March 17. Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Watkins’ fate is in the IUAW’s corner. Not a sound from that court. Not the echo of a chance. We don’t need an ethics committee to determine who the IUAW works for.
